About Kevin Reilly Lighting

Renowned worldwide for his original, innovative, and beautifully handcrafted electrical wax candles, Kevin Reilly is one of the best names in the decorative lighting market today. A designer and artist by heart, Reilly works with a small team of artisans to produce inimitable light creations that pay homage to the old-fashioned and the new-fangled. Kevin Reilly is also particular about using the proper lighting from day to night, stating that “a light during the day needs to be minimal and sculptural, but at night it should be magical.”

Kevin Reilly, the Designer: The man behind the company name is self-taught designer Kevin Reilly, who is known worldwide for his innovative lighting masterpieces, which integrate electrical lighting into wax candles. This unique aesthetic approach results in romantic and stylish creations that have won designers and celebrities over. The company is based in Montgomery, Alabama, where Kevin Reilly and his team design and produce stylishly customized furniture and lighting creations for decorators and designers. For the past decade, Kevin Reilly Lighting has produced light fixtures with consistent quality, from wall lights and lamps to designer table lamps and contemporary chandeliers. Designer Reilly incorporates the basic and the rustic into the romantic and contemporary, resulting in designs which are sleek, modern, and dreamy. The workshop is the center of the entire design and production process, where sheets of steel are transformed into beautiful, one-of-a-kind lighting fixtures. The highly acclaimed candle motifs from Kevin Reilly are made using a special wax formulation, which reflects the softness of real candlelight. Some of the newest collections from the designer are the lanterns fashioned from metal and glass, which take inspiration from earlier designs but incorporate more modern styling.

Kevin Reilly Lighting Collections:  Kevin Reilly Lighting collections include chandeliers, floor lamps, sconces, table lamps and outdoor lighting. A carefully selected team of artisans, along with the designer himself, painstakingly produce beautifully handcrafted light fixtures that serve the needs of designers and celebrities on a global scale. The wall lights, pendant lamps, classic and contemporary lamps, chandeliers, classic pendant lamps and many others are crafted using the highest quality and construction standards, together with the innovative, creative touch of Reilly himself. Working with the wax candle, and incorporating a special bulb that does not in any way affect the quality of the wax, Kevin Reilly is able to produce beautifully original sources of light that combine old-fashioned romanticism and modern conveniences and features.

Kevin Reilly Lighting in the Press: The lighting fixtures and creations of Kevin Reilly Lighting have been published in numerous design magazines and architectural publications across the United States and Europe. In France, Kevin Reilly Lighting has graced the pages of AD, Ambiance Maison, Jardin et Decoration, Deco Magasine, and Maison Francaise, among others. In the UK, these light fixtures have found their way into the pages of House and Garden, Sunday Times, and Yachts. In the U.S. almost all design publications have published the unique creations of Kevin Reilly Lighting, including Architectural Digest, Beautiful Homes, California Homes, Chicago Homes, Elle Décor, Interior Design, House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home, Southern Accents, and Traditional Home. The company has showrooms all over the globe, Amsterdam and Athens to London, Dubai, Istanbul, Frankfurt, and many others.
