The Founding of J. Robert Scott: J. Robert Scott, a manufacturer of high-end home furnishings, was founded in Los Angeles in 1972 by award-winning designer Sally Sirkin Lewis. Working as a designer has allowed Ms. Lewis to furnish the homes of many of her clients using her popular "California Design" approach. Sally Sirkin Lewis currently sits as the President of J. Robert Scott, translating her clean and elegant design philosophy into the fabrics and furniture carried by the brand. The textiles and furniture are all painstakingly hand-crafted in their California factory, ensuring construction quality and flawlessness in each and every piece. For a designing career that spans more than 3 decades, Ms. Lewis has earned more than 150 U.S. Design Patents for most of her work.
