About Highland Court Fabric

From traditional collections to the more whimsical, modern fabric selections, Highland Court has always been equated with luxury. A division of the internationally renowned fabric and furniture company Duralee, Highland Court was created to address the needs of some of the most demanding interior decorators and designers in the industry. With a strong commitment to upholding quality and "new luxury", Highland Court Fabrics makes available some of the most sumptuous, most intricate textile collections in the market to date.

The Beginnings of Highland Court Fabrics: Highland Court is a relatively new company, having emerged as a brand of luxury fabrics in the year 2001. While the existence of the brand in the market began in 2001, the tradition of luxury and superb craftsmanship by its parent company started way back in the fifties. It was in 1952 that Duralee, the fastest growing decorative fabrics company today, was established. From 1999 to 2000, Duralee saw a niche in the decorative fabrics market that needed to be filled. This niche particularly centered on the emergence of "new luxury" in the market. Owing to the growing success of its parent company, Highland Court was introduced in 2001. The brand offered their first collection of washed chenilles in the market, and also opened their first showrooms during the same year.  Several years after, in 2004, the Highland Court brand introduced not only a new identity but also a new, more distinctive logo. The following year, several collections, such as the Wool Jacquard and Wool Satin collections were launched. Other collections released in the year 2005 include the Silk Taffeta Plaids and Thai Silk collections.

Lush, Elegant Highland Court Fabrics: While the brand is a fairly new player in the market, Highland Court Fabrics has managed to become a staple in the interior decorating industry. Due to their innovative designs and commitment to luxury, Highland Court is the brand of choice by many of the most discerning interior designers and architects worldwide. These luxurious textiles come in a range of types, such as silks, damasks, embroidery, and sheers. There are silk taffetas, plaids, wool satins, and various textures and weaves from Highland Court as well. The Marakesh Collection features vibrant patterns and colors reminiscent of traditional Moroccan designs, from paisleys and stripes to the more interesting Ikat designs. The Hollywood Collection from Highland Court Fabrics introduces an interesting mix of traditional luxury and contemporary glamour through its beautiful 20th century styles. A color set featuring rich browns, subtle champagne shades, neutral grays, and sexy black and red combinations are one of the most attractive points of the Hollywood collection. The most beautiful silks are available through the Highland Court Fabrics Thai Silk collection.

The diversity and distinctive luxury of each of the fabric collections by Highland Court makes this brand a reliable source of decorative fabrics for the most sophisticated, most elegant environments today. Highland Court Fabrics maintains its corporate headquarters in New York, while corporate and representative showrooms are situated all over the country and overseas.  Its international showrooms are located from one end of the globe to the other; from Germany, New Zealand, and Poland to China, Hong Kong, and South Africa.
