The Initial Stages of Galbraith & Paul: What started as a hand papermaking studio has now evolved into one of the finest textile and home furnishing manufacturers in the United States. Through the collaboration of Liz Galbraith and Ephraim Paul, Galbraith & Paul was established in 1986. However Galbraith & Paul Fabric started by papermaking and lighting production. Eventually they shifted to hand block printing specializing on textiles, handcrafted rugs, and wallpapers. A collection of block printed pillows and lighting is also available through the brand's Room & Board line.  Galbraith & Paul Fabric collections are handcrafted by the company's skilled artisans, straight out of their studio. The company strives to keep up with the best standards in quality and design in terms of producing handmade decorative fabrics. Each piece of Galbraith & Paul Fabric mirrors the dedication of the company founders as well as the rest of the team in the art of textile design and printing. Today the company specializes in the manufacture and design of hand printed textiles, hand-crafted rugs, and carefully-designed wall paper. They also cater to requests for customized textiles, although there are already 30 patterns and 100 colors readily available.
