The beautiful pieces have been constructed from unique materials that include refined silk, linen, mohair and cotton, and the designs are traditionally classic. Suzanne Rheinstein has a known taste in a palette of greens, blues, and neutrals, and the new Hollyhock II line features these colors plus brand new shades of soft gray, lavender, and yellow.

Here are some ideas of just how unique the new Hollyhock II fabrics really are. Each one has been named after the pattern it represents. For instance, there’s Gore House Print, a timeless woven reproduction of a floral Provencal fabric style straight out of the 19th century. The centuries turn back even farther with the classy Brecy Print, an 18th century silk warp print inspiration featuring flowers and vines that cascade down the pattern. Library Mohair is a deep, rich mohair velvet fabric that has been updated with a glowing panne finish. Lexington Tweed was constructed in France and built with a linen and viscose blend. A Scottish design is featured in the fabric Beatriz, a dramatic ikat design.

If you’re into Chinese patterns and elegant looks, there’s a whole array of choices from the Hollyhock II collection for you. Quiet Garden subtly displays realistic looking nosegays, while Winding Way features an elegant look straight out of an original vermicelli design created by Suzanne Rheinstein. There’s even an Indian print in the collection, the Indian Zag print, made out of an original Delhi fabric.SRHH2_Press4[2]

Suzanne Rheinstein definitely has taken flair from her Southern roots and west coast California lifestyle to produce Hollyhock II, her new gorgeous fabric line. Classic but understated, the new Hollyhock II fabrics will add a fresh look inside any room.
