About Osborne and Little

A British brand at heart, Osborne & Little is a name synonymous to excellence in terms of fabric and wallpaper design. For more than forty years the company has produced stylish, sophisticated fabrics and wallpapers, introducing some of the finest trends in design and color palettes throughout the years. Today the company is also the trusted distributor of Nina Campbell fabrics and Lorca fabrics, as well as Michael Reeves furniture.

The Beginnings:  Peter Osborne and Antony Little founded Osborne & Little during the sixties in London, offering a range of handprinted wallpapers that garnered awards and immediate success shortly after its introduction. The company began to produce decorative fabrics and weaves along with its wallpapers. The company is revered for its expert use of design for more than four decades, making use of some of the best styles throughout the years. From the painterly effects prevalent in the 80s to the holographic wallpaper styles of the contemporary times, Osborne & Little Fabrics have always exhibited excellence in style and quality in construction.  More than a purveyor of versatile, stylish fabrics, Osborne & Little Fabrics is also known as a distributor of two other fabric brands; Nina Campbell and Lorca. Nina Campbell is a highly-acclaimed interior designer who is also popular for her stylish fabric offerings and range of wallpapers and accessories. Nina Campbell has collaborated with Osborne & Little Fabrics for more than 21 years, trusting the company with distributing her line of fabrics, wallpapers, and trimmings.  Osborne & Little is also the distributor of Lorca fabrics, known for luxurious textile collections that include the richest silks, beautiful embroideries, luscious velvets, and upscale weaves. Taking inspiration from the opulent Far Eastern and Asian collections, Lorca fabrics are harmoniously distinctive and elegant. With its continually updated collections and fruitful collaborations, Osborne & Little is able to carry through with its tradition of excellence and limitless possibilities.

Osborne & Little Fabric Collections:  The collections of Osborne & Little Fabric are sumptuous and exciting, created for residential, contract and hospitality applications. The present collection of textiles include contemporary velvets with animal themes, dual purpose chenilles in neutrals and jewel tones, versatile plains in bright and subtle shades, traditional wools, and classic, vintage silks. There are outdoor offerings from Osborne & Little Fabric as well, such as the Zancudo Outdoor Fabrics, featuring five different designs rendered on lightfast, stain-resistant materials. The company also provides design customization services for the contract and hospitality markets. This is done to ensure that all requirements and customer requests are met with the highest attention to specificity and design excellence. Collections for contract and hospitality installations include fabrics, wallpapers, and trimmings. Nina Campbell collections include weaves, satins, chenilles, silks, and velvets. The Perroquet Fabrics are Parisian-inspired, characterized by wonderful prints and luxurious silk stripes. The offerings from Lorca include bright silks, flame retardant and washable Trevira taffeta and stain-resistant velours to name a few.

Osborne and Little in the News:  A few of the newest fabric offerings from Osborne and Little include the Sabi Velvets, Kinloch Wools, Lyceum Faux Leathers, and Dunvegan Plain Fabrics. The latest fabric collections from Nina Campbell are the Montacute Fabrics and Weaves, and the Dragon faux sharkskin, Falbala Trevira, and Xanadu Chintz from Lorca.  The Jaisalmer fabric from Osborne and Little won the Homes & Gardens Fabric Awards 2011, for the category in Best Embroidered Fabric. The beautiful Jaisalmer fabric is one of the offerings of the Karavansara collection, which was praised for its “breathtaking execution and mix of colors in design.”
