About Martin Pierce Furniture
For the past 16 years Martin and Anne Pierce of Martin Pierce have provided discriminating homeowners and design industry professionals with exquisite, hand crafted furniture and hardware manufactured in their Los Angeles studios. Their furniture collection offers a line of unique case goods that include dining tables and chairs, armoires, beds, occasional tables and other items. These are all manufactured from American grown walnut or English brown oak along with myrtle burl veneer that adds interest and dimension to several pieces.
Known for their organic designs and hand-chiseled details, many items feature motifs inspired by nature such as vines, leaves and aspen and sycamore trees. They often employ a modernized version of the age old japanning technique of finishing and these finely detailed pieces are part of a signed and numbered series.
