About Fabricut Fabric

For more than 50 years Fabricut has been a purveyor of quality decorative fabrics worldwide, with showrooms all over the U.S. and across the globe, from Australia to South Africa to the U.K. With thousands of selections available, whether on fabrics, trimmings, or hardware, Fabricut is one of the biggest distributors of decorative textiles both domestically and internationally. Fabricut Fabrics are known for their quality and versatility, offered to satisfy the decorating tastes of interior designers and architects within the industry.

The History of Fabricut Fabrics:  Fabricut started in the 1950s, when friends Joe Finer and Harry Guterman opened a drapery store in New York after World War II. But a drapery store was not the end of Finer and Guterman's collective goal; both wanted to operate a wholesale fabric business. Harry Guterman tested several locations and ended up choosing Tulsa Oklahoma during the mid-fifties. When Joe Finer followed him five years after, Fabricut Fabrics came into existence.   As a company, it is the mission of Fabricut to distribute high-quality fabrics, combining exceptional design and value to the market. The company also takes pride in the talent and commitment of their employees, who are in fact, the owners of the company through the unique Employee Stock Ownership program adopted by the fabric house. Fabricut today is managed by an executive division which involves two of the sons of both founders. Currently one of the largest fabric distributing operations worldwide, the company offers an impressive 58,000 options when it comes to quality fabrics and trimmings.

Versatile Fabricut Fabrics:  Due primarily to an excellent design scheme and a detailed attention to quality, Fabricut Fabrics are among the most sough-after decorative fabrics by interior decorators worldwide. The versatility of these fabrics make them excellent for a wide range of installations, including residential, commercial, and industrial, and even for fashion purposes. From bedding fabrics and drapery to upholstery and multipurpose fabrics, this textile company offers an array of materials and designs for every interior decorating project. The extensive color palette, fabric types, and design selections of Fabricut Fabrics give the company its unique advantage in the industry. From subtle shades such as beige, peach, purple, and the lightest yellows, blues, and greens to the more striking colors that include blue, burgundy, green, and pink, their collection of plains are extensive and impressive. Fabricut also offers textiles in an exceptional array of designs, to fit every taste and environment. Classic prints and designs include florals, leaves, stripes, and paisleys.  For a more contemporary vibe, there are animal skin designs, geometric and abstract prints, solids, and tropical prints. The fabric materials from Fabricut are just as exceptional as well, featuring chenilles, crewels, faux leather, lace, linens, outdoor textiles, raffia, silk, sheer, taffeta, velvet, suede, and many others.

Repeatedly featured in some of the most credible home decorating magazines such as House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Traditional Home, and Remodel Magazine, Fabricut Fabrics are beyond what is expected and what is conventional. Traditional yet timeless, modern yet well-balanced, it's not surprising why the designs of Fabricut have endured for more than 50 years, and counting.
