About Clarence House Fabrics

To fill a perceived void in the home textile market Robin Roberts, a New York City interior designer, founded Clarence House Fabrics in 1961. He began by importing never before seen fabrics from Europe.

Today, Clarence House has showrooms across America and in five other countries. With mills spread around the world they are able to create and produce the hand screened printed fabrics and wallpapers they are famous for. Their exclusive line also includes velvet, damask, cotton, linen, hand embroidered crewels and leather along with a line of coordinating trims.
